We are Bold! A new, fresh Web Design agency in York. We are focussed on using the latest and greatest technology to make sure your brand stands out.

About Bold

Bold was Founded by me - Jacob Jenkins, In a bid to escape from the 9-5. I'm using all my 15 years of experience and skill in creating beautiful websites for myself and my clients.

We push expectations of the web, and challenge what people think the web is capable of. Not just in terms of technology, but also how it can transform your business or launch your brand into a new era!

I have worked many jobs in tech since I started, and have always loved designing and creating websites that people love.

I've worked on tiny websites for chip shops, and I've worked on global brands. I've both bought, and sold websites and know exactly what it's like from both sides of the screen!

That's why Bold is dedicated to a personal, humble and efficient approach. That's why we use the latest technology. Not only because it's more efficient and gets you up and running faster, but to future proof your brand and business. To make sure that your website, the cornerstone of your business, is always relevant.

Bold has one goal: To make the web beautiful and accessible to all brands. We understand that brands are an extension of the hard-working people behind them.

We want to inspire customers, win clients, and be the go-to designer for the smallest businesses to the biggest ideas.

How are we going to do it?

We create bespoke and beautiful templates using Astro and a Headless Content Management System.

Every brand is unique, and so should their website. We don't copy & paste sites from other clients.

This approach is quicker, leaner and cheaper to scale than a typical Wordpress website. Which means as you grow, so can your website.

Wordpress only serves your website. Working with us, your content will be available for any existing or future apps or sites. Say you want to translate your site or create a mobile app. Because you've grown your brand the Bold way, your content and technology is no longer a barrier.

We can plug-and-play any existing code or components you currently have. Say you have an existing site with some custom component you lovingly had built. You don't need to get rid of it - reuse and recycle isn't just for your blue bin!
